Caffeine Fix Debuts in Style with Gate-to-Wire Victory at Colonial Downs

Caffeine Fix made a winning first impression on Monday, July 6, breaking her maiden in her career debut with a dominant gate-to-wire victory in Race 2 at Colonial Downs.

The 2-year-old daughter of Yaupon broke sharply, established the lead from the outset and never looked back, drawing off to win by 3 lengths. She covered 5 1/2 furlongs on the dirt in 1:04.78 to capture the $70,000 maiden special weight.

Caffeine Fix was purchased for $250,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale by RB Bloodstock and is campaigned by Storyteller Racing and Open Gate Horse Ventures.
