Brisset Racing Set to Compete in 2026 Real Rider Cup

Brisset Racing is proud to once again support Thoroughbred aftercare as both Rodolphe Brisset and Brooke Baker compete in the 2026 Real Rider Cup on Saturday, July 11 at New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program at Mereworth Farm in Lexington, Kentucky. Gates open to the public at 6 p.m., with the first rider set to take the course at 7 p.m.

The Real Rider Cup brings together trainers, jockeys, breeders, owners, racing personalities, and industry professionals to partner with off-track Thoroughbreds and compete over a show jumping course while raising funds for organizations dedicated to giving retired racehorses successful second careers.

This year makes the event even more special for our team. Brooke will compete aboard Hozier, while Rodolphe will ride The Black Album — two familiar faces and beloved Brisset Racing stable alumni who have gone on to excel beyond the racetrack.

Each Real Rider Cup participant commits to raising at least $1,000, with every dollar supporting three outstanding Thoroughbred aftercare organizations: Beyond the Wire, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program, and the Retired Racehorse Project. Their work helps ensure retired racehorses have the opportunity to thrive in new careers and loving homes after their racing days are over.

We are incredibly proud to support this mission and grateful to see Hozier and The Black Album continuing to showcase the versatility and heart that make Thoroughbreds so special.
