Patience paid off on the final day of the OBS March 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, as RB Bloodstock went to $400,000 to secure Hip 764, a standout filly by Blame, on behalf of Storyteller Racing.

One of the more eye-catching breezers of the week, she worked a sharp :9.4 and quickly worked her way to the top of the list. When she came through the ring, the team stuck to their plan and landed a filly they had been targeting all sale.

Consigned by Britton Peak, the April 10 filly brings a strong mix of speed and pedigree. She is by Blame, the Breeders’ Cup Classic-winning champion and proven sire of top-level runners, and out of Fifthatnarraganset, a stakes-placed daughter of Cairo Prince who was competitive early at two . The family continues to produce, with multiple winners underneath and deeper roots tracing back to Grade 2 winner Ms Brookski .

She checked a lot of boxes all week, from her breeze to her overall presence, and looks like an exciting addition to the program moving forward.
