Veteran runner Willow Creek Road added another strong performance to his resume with a gate-to-wire victory in a $126,000 allowance at Oaklawn Park, covering one and one sixteenth miles on the dirt.

Ridden by Jaime Torres, the 7-year-old Arkansas-bred son of Hightail broke sharply from the gate and immediately established control of the race. Once on the lead, he settled into a comfortable rhythm and never looked back, maintaining command throughout the stretch to win in dominant fashion by 2 1/4 lengths.

Owned by Jac Mac Stable LLC and Stanley Thrash, Willow Creek Road has been a consistent performer for the barn. With $449,910 in career earnings, he has now finished in the top three in 12 of his 22 starts, continuing to reward his connections with his durability and determination on the track.

Congratulations to his owners, our team, and to everyone involved in keeping him performing at a high level.
