Owner Spotlight: Rob Dickerson of Jacmac Stable LLC

We're proud to spotlight Rob Dickerson of Jacmac Stable LLC, whose partnership with Brisset Racing continues to grow as we work together to develop the next generation of his stable. From individualized horse care to bloodstock acquisitions, Rob shares his experience working with Rodolphe Brisset and the team.

In Rob's Words

"Working with Rodolphe Brisset and the entire team at R. Brisset Thoroughbred Stable has been a fantastic and refreshing experience.

When I first joined the stable, I brought my stable of horses with varying needs, from being inexperienced/unproven to some requiring some rest/recovery and others were ready to get back to the races. Throughout the process, the team approached each horse as an individual, providing honest and open communication about each.

Sometimes I did not like what I was told, but yet I knew it was frank and with both the horse’s and my own best interests in mind.

We've enjoyed success with several runners, and where it became clear a horse would be better suited elsewhere, they helped navigate those transitions professionally and with the horse's welfare in mind.

What I've appreciated most is the communication and transparency. I have always felt informed and involved in the decision-making process, and the guidance provided by Rodolphe and his team has been invaluable.

Their support extends beyond training alone. Through the collaboration of R. Brisset Thoroughbred Stable, RB Bloodstock, LLC, and September Farm, they have assisted me in adding to my stable with a young group of horses with impressive pedigrees.

The team has refreshed my enthusiasm in what the future holds for us in racing.
