Mission Improbable added another win to his resume on September 7 at Kentucky Downs, rallying from the back of the field to take a $180,000 allowance going 6 1/2 furlongs on the turf.

The 4-year-old gelding settled well off the pace early before beginning to make up ground approaching the stretch. He swung six wide, split horses and produced a strong late run to get up in time for the victory, stopping the clock in 1:16.04.

The win marked Mission Improbable’s second victory of 2026 and improved his career record to four wins, two seconds and two thirds from 14 starts, with earnings of $232,417.

Mission Improbable, a son of Improbable out of the Broken Vow mare Pay Off, was bred in Kentucky by St. Simon Place LLC and Scott Stephens. He was purchased by RB Bloodstock as a 2-year-old and is campaigned by Storyteller Racing, Richard L. Reeder, Schroeck Racing LLC and Thomas E. Sherman.

Congratulations to his ownership group and the entire Brisset Racing team on another strong performance.
