Two-year-old Improbable colt Forum broke his maiden in style, capturing a $120,000 Maiden Special Weight going one mile on the turf at Churchill Downs on October 26.
Forum chased from second early, letting the leader open up by two lengths as they entered the stretch. Showing determination and a strong turn of foot, he made up tremendous ground, closed the gap, and pulled away late to win by half a length in 1:37.35 under Luan Machado.
Owned by Imagine Racing, Forum has shown natural ability from the start. He ran second on debut and came back to deliver a professional performance in just his second start, now boasting $75,700 in earnings.
By Improbable, the 2019 Champion 3-Year-Old Colt and son of City Zip, Forum was purchased for $16,000 at last year’s OBS October Yearling Sale. He’s proven to be an exciting and rewarding addition to the stable, showing both precocity and confidence on the track.
Congratulations to Imagine Racing and thank you to our dedicated team for their continued hard work behind the scenes.
